Bill Would Prohibit Gas Stations From Charging People More who pay With Plastic

A bill introduced in the Michigan House would ensure the price you see at the pump is the price you pay.

State Representative John Chirkun is behind the measure.

The bill, if it became law, would prohibit a gas station from listing a price for gas on their sign or at the pump and charging people more who use a credit card to pay for it.

Chirkun calls posting one price and charging people more who pay with plastic disingenuous.
