Big changes are coming for all Shopko Hometown stores, including locations in Calumet and L’Anse. The department store chain will now accept the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, which helps low-income families and individuals have access to the food they need. Shopko also announced renovations and expansion of its grocery department which will include an additional 850 items including dairy, frozen foods and canned goods. The expanded Hometown Pantry will also offer bread, milk and eggs.
