The Biennial Lake Superior Youth Symposium will take place this year at Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin from April 20-23. This program takes place every other year, with this year being the 15th symposium.
This is a great opportunity for youths in grades 8-12 to be immersed in Lake Superior stewardship, science, art, careers, and more. There will be coach bus transportation from the Copper Country Intermediate School District for students and educators.
A group of U.P. students and educators are getting together to go to the symposium, and are raising donations for student sponsorships and lodging. Register online by this Friday, March 31 if you’re interested.
