Vice President Joe Biden will have a Michigan Christmas tree this upcoming holiday.
Korson’s Tree Farms in Sidney in Montcalm County is sending eight trees to Biden’s home in Washington, D.C. after winning second reserve champion at the 2015 National Tree Contest in July.
Jessica Korson, one the owners of the farm, says they are sending a 12 year-old 11-foot Fraser Fir to serve as the main tree.
The other smaller trees will be used in other rooms at the home.
The Korson family will also travel to the vice president’s residence in a few weeks to attend a reception.
