BHK Child Development Giving Tuesday next week will raise funds to provide car seats to Copper County families in need. Car and booster seats for children are not only a convenience but are necessary to protect life in the case of an accident. According to data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates in 2021 more than 1,100 children under 14 years old died in a car accident. In addition to providing the seat to families, BHK will provide education, and use of a certified car seat technician to help families learn how to properly install a seat in their vehicle.
