Veterans with questions concerning their benefits and other issues can get the answers they need an event Thursday.
Congressman Dan Benishek will be hosting a Veterans Assistance Fair in Houghton at Michigan Tech’s Wood Gym.
Local Veterans Service Officers will be there to assist veterans in filing claims, submitting fee basis requests, and navigating the appeals process.
Representatives from several VA facilities will also be there to help with benefits and eligibility.
The fair runs from 11:00am to 6:00pm.
All local veterans are welcome to attend.
