Benishek Taking Applications for Service Academy Education

U.S. Congressman Dan Benishek announced this week that his office is currently accepting applications from constituents interested in a nomination to the U.S. Military, Naval, Air Force, and Merchant Marine Academies. Applicants will be required to fill out an application form, submit academic transcripts, standardized test scores, three letters of recommendation, a resume and a short essay explaining why they want to attend a service academy. Benishek says he looks forward to learning more about this year’s applicants, their career goals and what they hope to get out of a Service Academy education. The application deadline is October 30, 2014.
