Beer Fest to Proceed Despite Forecast

Despite the rainy forecast, tomorrow’s Baraga County Beer Fest will take place at L’Anse Waterfront Park. The second annual event is a fundraiser for the Baraga County Chamber of Commerce, which is putting up tents to keep visitors and vendors dry. The Fest will be open from 1:00 until 5:00, with dozens of regionally-made craft beers to sample, along with locally-produced mead and several food options. Free shuttles will run each hour between the Ojibwa Casino in Baraga to Waterfront Park, with the first shuttle leaving the Casino at 12:45.
