B&E Suspect Pleads Not Guilty

A Breaking and Entering suspect who allegedly fled from police is now facing multiple felonies stemming from the incident.

Shey33-year-old Patrick Shea of Calumet was arraigned on four charges including Second Degree Home Invasion, punishable by up to 15 years in prison; Fleeing and Eluding a Police Officer, a five year felony; Possession of the Controlled Substance—Tramadol, a two year felony; and Resisting, Obstructing and Assaulting a Police Officer, punishable by two years.

Shea pled Not Guilty to all charges.

Police say the suspect broke into a home on Bootjack Road in Torch Lake Township on March 31st and led police on a chase that ended when his vehicle became stuck in the snow.

Shea is scheduled to appear for a pretrial in about 30 days.
