Baraga Fair Opens Today

The Baraga County Fair opens today at the fairgrounds in Pelkie. This year’s fair will have a different look, with a carnival providing rides and fair-style food. The Senior Day program begins at 11:00 this morning, in a new location at the Community Hall. Fair queen candidates will be presented at 4:00 this afternoon, and this year’s queen will be crowned tonight at 7:30. The Junior ATV and ATV Challenge will begin at 7:00 this evening. Other highlights include the Mud Bog tomorrow at 1:00, and the Off Road Derby and Demolition Derby Sunday afternoon. For the full schedule, click here.
