A drug bust in Baraga County has landed three people in jail. Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) tell us they arrested a 29-year-old man, a 58-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman. They face multiple counts of selling morphine in Baraga County, and on the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community Reservation. All were taken to the Baraga County jail. Their identities will be released once they’re arraigned in 97th District Court.
UPSET was assisted by the Baraga County Sheriff’s Department, the Keweenaw Bay Tribal Police, and the Michigan State Police Calumet post.
