Baraga County Looking to Help Local Businesses

The Baraga County Chamber of Commerce is spearheading an Economic Development Project to help local businesses get access to resources for improvements. The plan is to create a position where someone can help entrepreneurs with their ideas or even those who want to start their own business. The chamber is asking some of the local governments and organizations for assistance in getting the project off the ground. Among those involved is the village of L’Anse, who will hold their village meeting tonight. Among the items on the agenda is a resolution to support of a segment of the state’s suprlus to be divided amongst the local governments.
