Fishing, running and bicycling—they are at the heart of the Baraga County Lake Trout Festival, taking place tomorrow.
The festival features the Keweenaw Bay Classic Fishing Tournament, the Pequaming Run and Half Marathon, and the Tour de L’Anse bicycle race.
But you don’t have to be an active sportsman to enjoy the festival, live music, food and other vendors will be there with most of the activity centered around the L’Anse Waterfront Park.
Baraga County Convention and Visitor Bureau’s Tracey Barrett says this event was put together with the whole family in mind.
One of the highlights is the Kid’s Free Fishing Pond, which is sure to be a big hit again this year.
Activities get underway early Saturday morning.
