Seats are still available for a majority of the Summer Youth Programs at Michigan Tech, including the aviation and aerospace class. Instructors from the Civil Air Patrol will take students from grades 9 through 11 on a week-long course all about aviation with an emphasis on what it takes to receive a private pilot license. Kevin Cadeau, one of the instructors of the simulations, says the reaction they have had in past years to the course is very positive.
Head instructor Jack Hartmann says the format of these course will be very beneficial to the students.
The courses will be going on all next week. To sign up, click here.
