Aura Welcomes New Wall of Fame Members

Pleasant weather contributed to a successful Aura Jamboree over the weekend. Dozens of performers took the stage in 15-minute intervals… and organizers reported good turnouts for the traditional dances both Friday and Saturday nights. The most poignant moment came when Aura Hall Board Member Mike Roberts introduced this year’s new members of the Jamboree Wall of Fame, Renee and Hugo Lehto, and his parents, Fred and Janet Roberts. Both couples have been involved with the Jamboree from the beginning, and remain active supporters today. Renee Lehto said it’s a community effort that keeps the Jamboree growing. Money raised by the Jamboree goes to help maintain and improve the historic Aura Community Hall. You can link to video of the Wall of Fame induction ceremony here.
