Art and Music Festival

The 12th annual Houghton Art and Music Festival will be held on the upper parking deck in downtown Houghton this Saturday. Local and regional artists will be selling stained glass, pottery, jewelry, fiber art, paintings and photography. Live music performers will be present as well as family activities include the Frog Hop scavenger hunt, where you can win prizes for visiting downtown Houghton businesses. Back by popular demand, the festival will feature a kids bike decorating booth and bike parade. Kids ages three through 16 are welcome. There is no charge, and decorating materials will be provided. All participants must wear bike helmets. The popular bake sale will also be held again this year.
