Drifting, blowing and falling snow along with bone chilling cold temperatures are forecasted for most of the week across Michigan, compliments of an Arctic system.
Daytime highs in the lower third of the lower Peninsula will hover in the 20’s and temperatures will only get colder the further north you go.
In northern Michigan temperatures will linger in the teens.
And in the Upper Peninsula National folks will be staring down temperatures in the single digits during the day and well below zero at night.
In fact, National Weather Service Meteorologist Keith Cooley, says wind chills at night could get down to at least 20 degrees below zero in some parts of the U.P.
The Arctic blast is expected to linger through Wednesday.
