Another Opportunity To Get Lightbulbs From HEET

The Houghton Energy Efficiency Team is again giving away LED lightbulbs to qualified UPPCO customers who register this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ace Hardware in Calumet.

Income guidelines are 200 percent of poverty level. Bring an UPPCO bill and 2014 tax form, recent pay stub, Bridge Card or Social Security letter or deposit record.

People who meet those qualifications will be sent a voucher by mail that they can use to get their light bulbs.

Those living in apartments can receive up to five bulbs, those in houses or half-houses can get eight.
