The Sisu shuffle kicks off the rest of the spring and summer running events.
“So the Sisu Shuffle is traditionally the first running/walking event to kick off spring and summer, and yes, historically, we’ve had some great years, where it’s 60 and sunny and beautiful, and we can use the trails that involves the snowmobile trail, but then there are also many years, including this year, where we still have snow, and y’know, mucky conditions on the snowmobile trail, and a little bit colder temperatures than we would like, but still, the Sisu Shuffle will go on, and we will do two laps around by the hospital, which will equate to that 5K – 3.1 miles.” -Community Health Coordinator at UP Health System Portage, Angela Luskin
The Sisu shuffle is a free, family and pet friendly event for the community.
“It gives us an opportunity for our community to come out, be active, and do it in a non-intimidating way.” –Community Health Coordinator at UP Health System Portage, Angela Luskin
The event goes from 9a.m.-11a.m. and will start at the Main Campus of UP Health System, Portage.
