Angel Mission Needs Christmas Help

The New Beginnings Angel Mission in Calumet is appealing for last-minute help to fill a need for Christmas gifts for area kids. The Mission received requests from area families to provide presents for nearly 300 children. The profiles of those children were placed on their Angel Tree. With the holiday just a few days away, more than 150 of the Angel requests still need to be filled. Angel Mission officials say there are two ways you can help. You can stop at the Angel Mission Free Store in Calumet, pick out some Angels, do the shopping, and return the gifts to the store. Or, you can make a financial donation, and they’ll do the shopping for you. The Mission also needs donations of gift bags and wrapping materials.
