An anonymous donation to the Copper Shores Meal on Wheels feeds Seniors with a familiar dish. Recently the Copper Shores Meals on Wheels program delivered the regional favorite food, a pasty, to seniors in the copper country. The meal was the benefit of a recent anonymous donation to the organization to purchase 350 pastries from Krupp Mini Mart. The 1000-dollar donation was given to the group in support of the purchase after the anonymous donor shared his experience volunteering with Meals on Wheels in the area. Expressing a desire to impact Meals on Wheels with a monetary donation. This is the second year in a row that Meals on Wheels seniors have enjoyed a pasty from Krupp’s. Last year the Twin Lakes shop donated more than 300 to Meals on Wheels following a cup of coffee between Krupp’s owners Troy and Tina Povich and a Meals on Wheels member.
