A-Negative, O-Negative & B-Negative Blood Critically Needed In U.P.

The U.P. Regional Blood Center a service of U.P. Health System is experiencing a critical blood need for A-negative, O-negative and B-negative blood types in the Upper Peninsula.

You can donate blood locally at the U.P. Regional Blood Center in Hancock.

To donate, all you need is to be is at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be healthy and hydrated.

They ask that you eat within two hours prior to donating.

You must wait 8 weeks between donations.

If you have not donated in the last 8 weeks and are well and healthy, please consider donating the gift of life.
