If you are planning to vote in this year’s August Primary, deadlines are fast approaching. If you are not registered to vote, you have just over a week, next Tuesday, July 5th, to go to the Secretary of State office of to your county clerk.
Those wising an absentee ballot have even less time as all requests must be made by Saturday at 2PM. Those that are 60 or older, physically unable to attend the polls, planning to be absent from the community or various other reasons may vote absentee.
Registration status, sample ballots, and answers to voting questions for the primary can be found at the Michigan Voter Information Center at www.Michigan.gov/vote.
