2014 Strawberry Festival

Today marks the beginning of the one of the biggest summer festivals in the Copper Country. The Chassell Lions Club’s Strawberry Festival in Chassell will begin at 9am and will feature several tasty treats, including the signature strawberry shortcake. Later in the day, the Strawberry Queen will be crowned. Tomorrow morning at 8 will be the new Lions Fun Run event, with registration beginning at 7:00, and then the parade starts at 11 o’clock.
