Elephant ears. The ferris wheel. Farm animals. All of this and much more as the 63rd annual Houghton County Fair kicks off today and will continue throughout the weekend. This year’s fair theme is “Transportation Moo-ves The World” and the event will feature a major change as Spectrum Entertainment will be providing the midway entertainment. County Fair Board Member Bonnie Decaire-Jones says there’s a special relationship between the people of the Copper County and the fair, especially for the senior citizens.
Among the many events going on this year is the Miss Houghton County Fair Pageant, the Cirque Amongous Show and Monster Trucks.
