100 Million Travelers Cross the Sault Ste. Marie Bridge

Two Upper Peninsula International travelers have been recognized as the 100 millionth travelers to cross the Sault Ste. Marie International Bridge. Donald Parish of Brimley and Stephanie Richard of Sault Ste. Marie, MI were identified by the International Bridge Administration yesterday as they made their way across the span connecting the United States with Canada. The administration gave each traveler a gift package including a complimentary tour of the bridge, a DVD of a 2012 Documentary about the Bridge and its history, and a commuter account deposit of $40. The bridge opened in 1962 and reached its 10 millionth crossing in 1975.
