Yoopers for Ukraine will finish a week of remembrance later this week in Marquette and Crystal Falls. Over the weekend Copper Country residents may have seen Yoopers for Ukraine near the Portage Lake lift bridge for several community events remembering two years of war in Ukraine. On Wednesday the group’s local activists will meet with other Yoopers for Ukraine in Marquette at the Veteran’s Park for a rally. Followed by an educational program at the Marquette library downtown. The rally will begin at 5 pm in Marquette on Wednesday. Then on Friday, the group plans to meet in Crystal Falls for a program. Yoopers for Ukraine says they will publish more details on that program this week.
