WUPPDR Seeks Survey Responses for the Western Upper Peninsula’s Recycling and Trash Habits

The Western Upper Peninsula Planning and Development Region is seeking survey responses from homeowners throughout Baraga, Gogebic, Houghton Iron and Kewenaw and Ontoangon counties. The planning and development organization has recently released two surveys asking the public about their recycling and trash habits. The first survey deals with hazardous waste disposal. The other survey focuses on recycling and compost.

Responses to the surveys will give WUPPDR much need insight into waste disposal methods and barriers within communities. The data collected by the organization will be used to gauge public interest into improving material management systems in the western Upper Peninsula. WUPPDR’s trash and recycling surveys can be found online, or papers copies can be found at local city and township offices.

Both surveys can be found on the following webpage’s link, here.
