The Western Upper Peninsula Citizens Advisory Council for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources will host its March meeting in Baraga County tonight.
Among normal agenda items, the council will receive a presentation on nearshore boating effects on aquatic habitats, the results of the Upper Peninsula Dear camp survey, and a report on activities with the Michigan Wildlife Council.
Each Upper Peninsula Citizens advisory council offers an opportunity for the public to provide local input advise the department on regional program and policy needs, and identify areas to improve effectiveness and response.
The Michigan DNR Western Upper Peninsula Citizens Advisory Council meeting in Baraga tonight will take place at the Baraga Lakeside Inn conference room at 900 US – 41.
The meeting will begin at 6 pm.
