Christmas in the Copper Country comes with a complete experience. From visits with Saint Nicolas to a wagon ride through downtown, and plenty of pretty lights twinkling in shop windows.
Christmas in Calumet and Laurium started last weekend. The regular celebration of Christmas in the area takes place on Saturdays during December and offers the community opportunities to relax with a wagon ride through the historic downtowns.
Next Saturday Main Street Calumet will welcome the community to the Christmas in Calumet parade before inviting attendees to the George Gipp Ice Arena for open skate. In addition to the fun-filled Saturday with the family, Main Street Calumet has encouraged businesses and organizations in the area to participate in the 2024 Light contest. Judging for the contest will start on the 19th, ahead of Christmas in Calumet and Laurium’s final events next Saturday.
