UPPCO Giving Away Energy Efficiency Kits and Sharing Valuable Information with Homeowners

By now many homes have likely already begun to turn on the heater as the temperatures dip and winter moves into the upper peninsula. And with the change of the seasons comes higher energy bills for keeping the house warm. UPPCO knows that there are homes throughout its service region that need energy efficiency upgrades. And they know a few home-care fixes that might help homeowners save a few dollars this winter. Tomorrow and Wednesday UPPCO will plan to give away free energy efficiency kits to customers in the copper country. While at either location homeowners can pick up a kit and learn some tips and tricks for energy efficiency this winter with UPPCO employees. Tomorrow and Wednesday UPPCO will have energy efficiency kits available in Houghton and Calumet, at Kirkish Furniture and Pats Foods.
