UPPCO Begins Accepting Proposals for the 2024 Bond Falls MEF Grant Program

UPPCO seeks proposals for the 2024 Bond Falls Mitigation and Enhancement Grant program. The MEF Grant Program creates tangible improvements to aquatic and terrestrial environments within the Ontonagon River watershed. UPPCO annually supports the program that is organized by the Bond Falls Implementation Team. The BFIT made up of representatives from the Michigan DNR, Wisconsin DNR, US Fish and Wildlife, US Forest Service, Keweenaw Bay Indian community, and other stakeholders, will choose grant awards based on their ability to improve aquatic and terrestrial habitats. Project proposal organizers will need to contact the BFIT team as a part of the program. Applications for the Bond Falls Mitigation and Enhancement Fund Grant program can be submitted via email.
