Informing and educating the Upper Peninsula’s communities about human trafficking takes a lot of hard work and dedicated individuals. Tomorrow evening the Upper Peninsula Human Trafficking Task Force will hold the organization’s quarterly membership meeting. And invites those interested in learning more about human trafficking challenges in the region to join the group for an informative meeting. The UPHTTF will invite two experts to speak on the topic, HSI Special Agent and Program Manager with the DHS Center for Countering Human Trafficking Alicia Blyden, and Management and Program Analyst Ann Marie Matheson. In addition to the organization’s regular meeting items, the Upper Peninsula Human Trafficking Task Force will share information with members about open board of director positions. The Uppe Peninsula Human Trafficking Task Force quarterly meeting is held virtually starting at 11 am.
