Unite Mental Health and Wellness adds a new pediatric mental health specialist to its team.
Unite Mental Health and Wellness recently announced it had added Zachary Meston, a Pediatric Mental health specialist to its team of professionals. Meston will provide specialized mental health services for infants through 6 years old, helping nurture emotional well-being during the early stages of development. He holds certification as a Licensed Master Social Worker and has an endorsement from the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health as an infant family specialist.
The new services available to families in the Copper Country will include both individual and family sessions, parenting support, and community resources to help families navigate the early stages of childhood. President of Unite Mental Health and Wellness Anglea Price says the mental health service provider believes early intervention is key to fostering health development and is thrilled to have Meston join and support the local community.
Unite’s addition of services for young children was made possible through the Thriving Minds project, a collaboration between Unite Mental Health and Wellness, Copper Shore Community Health Foundation, and the Superior Health Foundation.
