Two local fundraising meals this weekend will benefit cancer patients. Tomorrow morning in Chassell there is a pancake breakfast for teacher Melanie Hermala, and her family. The breakfast will be in the Chassell School gymnasium, from 8 am to 12 noon. Adult tickets are eight dollars, kids twelve and under and seniors over 60 can purchase a ticket for five dollars. Later in the day, travel up US-41 to Mohawk, and support Ken Olsen, at Mohawk American Legion Hall. Dinner will include sloppy joes, and entertainment from Jim and Teri Enrhetti. Tickets for the K-O Polka Fundraiser costs 10 dollars. That event will start at 3 pm, and go to 6 pm. Find more information on the Community calendar page.
