MINE and the Zumi Undergraduate Research Team Invites Kids to Learn about Robotics in Outer Space

Many kids dream of one day going to outer space. This weekend the Michigan Tech Multidisciplinary Innovation Enterprise will host a STEM event for local kids that will include hearing about the team’s experience in the NASA Lunabotics Competition. During the event middle school and high school students will learn about the challenges associated with robotics in a lunar environment, and get to engage in practice program activities with Zumi robots. Michigan Tech undergrad students John Dagg and Ben Bistline involved in the event also work on the Zumi Undergraduate Research Group. The event is presented by MINE Enterprises as part of its participation in the NASA Lunabotics Competition. Those interested in registering for the free STEM event can find more details online.
