The Small Business Saturday Coupon Book in the Keweenaw Peninsula is nearly full

With holidays just around the corner, parents and kids only have a few opportunities to find a perfect gift at a great price. One of the largest days of economic activity in the Copper Country occurs after the turkey has been carved, but hopefully, before the snow starts filling the streets more than shoppers.

Small Business Saturday with the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce is sponsored by the American Express Small Business Saturday campaign. The Chamber has already started pulling together coupons from local shops. But chamber manager Katie Schlief says businesses have until Friday to reserve their page in the booklet.

We do have the option that if you just give us the content, we can create it for you and make sure that it gets in there. It’s just a benefit to our community that we want to put recognition out there for their small businesses and what they have to offer and make sure that we’re shopping local and supporting their holidays. – Kaite Schlief, Chamber Manager, Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce

Small Business Saturday in the Copper Country will begin at 9 am on November 30th at the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce Building in Houghton. At the welcome site holiday shoppers can stop by pick up the Copper Country coupon booklet, learn about some of the deals happening on that day, and enjoy light refreshments before heading down the street.

Businesses that need some help with putting together the 2024 coupon for Small Business Saturday should contact the chamber for assistance or with any questions. Find more small business Saturday information here.
