While work progresses with logging data about the Keweenaw Heartlands, the Nature Conservancy will update the community on the project. The Nature Conservancy and Michigan Department of Natural Resources will host a brief meeting tonight to update the community and answer questions about the project. During the meeting, locals will hear about TNC’s progress with moving the Keweenaw Heartlands into the hands of the DNR and a local public entity to manage the Keweenaw Heartlands. The meeting will begin at 7: 30 pm this evening at the Allouez Township Community Hall located at 388 Bumbletown Road. Learn more about the Keweenaw Heartlands here.
