The Copper Shores community Health Foundation Begins Accepting Giving Tuesday Non Profit Applications

Each year the Copper Country shows immense support for the region’s non-profit organizations working throughout communities. Giving Tuesday for several years has raised over three million dollars. The day of giving with the Copper Shores Community Heath Foundation enjoys seeing many non-profits and residents getting involved. Recently the foundation opened applications for Giving Tuesday in 2024. Last year’s donations helped to raise close to more than 850,000 dollars for more than 30 charitable organizations. Groups interested in joining the day of charitable giving are registered 501 c 3 organizations, will need to provide a financial audit 990 form, and must have a current tax status and license to solicit. Organizations are not religious or educational. The Copper Shores Community Health Foundation will select groups and organizations that impact the community and have goals aligned with the foundation’s mission to create and promote a more healthful Copper Country community. Applications for Giving Tuesday with the Copper Shores Community Health Foundation are due by October 3rd.
