Superior Roboworks Starts Fundraiser to Cover Travel and Tournament Expenses

Houghton High School’s robotics team has traveled around the country to show off their skills. The team has often returned home to the Copper Country with new hardware in various competitions. Organizing and getting the team from one competition to another does however get expensive.

This year the Houghton High School Robotics team will do a little fundraising to help cover the team’s travel expenses and cost to register for tournaments. The team’s fundraiser this fall involves pampered chef kitchenware. The team hopes to reach over 600 dollars in sales. If the team reaches its goal, Pampered Chef will bump its donation percentage from 10 percent to 15 percent toward the Superior Roboworks robotics team. Find more information about the Pampered Chef fundraiser helping support students in the Copper Country below.

Superior Roboworks is based out of Houghton High school but accepts kids from around the Copper Country intermediate school district to join the team.
