Superior National Bank Breaks Ground in L’Anse

Superior National Bank is expanding. Yesterday the regional banker broke ground at its newest location, in L’Anse.  While construction at the new site begins, the bank’s other local branch in the village will continue to operate as usual. After construction of the new bank location is completed, work will begin to turn the old site into a parking lot.

Superior National Bank was happy to see the support of the community. As they invited bank staff, representatives with MJO contracting, UP Engineers and architects, the Village of L’Anse, the Baraga Chamber of Commerce, the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce, and the community to show their support.

Superior National Bank is headquartered in Hancock, Michigan. And employs over 200 people in the Upper Peninsula and Southeast Michigan. The bank represents over one billion dollars in assets, serving individual consumers, municipalities, small businesses and large corporations.
