The Superior Health Foundation is accepting grant applications for their Indigent Care Fund. The foundation plans to award a little over 50,000 dollars at their spring grant celebration in early May. Qualified health centered non-profits can apply for up to 10,000 dollars in funding to help support indigent care in the Upper Peninsula. Grant applications will be reviewed by the SHF grants committee before they make recommendations to the foundation’s board of directors. The superior Health foundation’s mission is to assist organizations addressing the unmet healthcare needs of the upper peninsula, with health education, programs, and research on preventing illness and promoting healthy residents. Applications for the grants with the Superior health foundation are due February 28th.
