Stanton Township Fire takes first in association tournament

The Copper Country Firefighters Association held its sixty-seventh annual tournament this past Saturday. Kids frequented the bounce houses and other activities, while adults were entertained by the competing departments, including four relay events.

Stanton Township Fire took first, with South Range and Houghton nipping at their heels. The competition was followed by a parade from Krupp’s Resort to the Twin Lakes Fire Hall. Congratulations to all those who competed and everyone in attendance made sure to express gratitude for the sacrifices each department member makes.
