As spring moves into the area, the shows at the Calumet Theatre are starting to heat up as well.
Take a trip down memory lane this weekend when William Florian takes the stage with Those Were The Days. Calumet Theatre Executive Director Marlin Lee says if you’re a fan of 60’s folk music, you’re going to really enjoy this show.
“Be prepared to sing along because it’s going to be a lot of familiar songs,” said Lee. “William Florien was a former member of The New Christy Minstrels and that is coming up on Sunday at 7:30pm.”
Shelby Lynne will make a special stop at the Calumet Theatre on April 27th,and Lee says the former Grammy winning country singer has come into her own as an artist.
“Her music encompasses country, pop, blues—one of the great vocalists and songwriters out there and we’re really pleased. It’s her only show in the upper Midwest,” Lee said.
Ticket sales for the entire season schedule open up in May and theatre members will get an exclusive two week period where they can buy tickets before they go on sale to the general public.
