Spring Funding Opportunities with the Keweenaw Community Foundation Closing Soon

The Keweenaw Community Foundation’s grant applications for the Kellogg Youth Fund will close at the end of the week. The Keweenaw Community Foundation plans to disperse 13,000 dollars in grant funds from the Kellogg Youth Fund for projects and programs in Houghton and Keweenaw counties. The Kellogg Youth Fund has previously supported projects including an adaptive SCUBA program, a community garden at a local school, installed a bike rack at Ahmeek Park, and purchased tools for High School robotics teams.

In addition to the Kellogg Youth Fund grants the Keweenaw Community Foundation will close applications for high school and college student scholarships on Saturday too.

The Foundation expects to award close to 40,000 dollars in scholarship funds for students seeking to expand their knowledge and experience through education. Those scholarship opportunities are available for both students planning to attend college or trade school and for adults who have plans to return to school.

Those interested in learning more about the Kellogg Youth fund grant opportunities, or the education scholarships with the Keweenaw Community Foundation that will close on Saturday, March 16th, can find more details below. Find more information here.
