South Range is getting ready for another exciting and fun fueled celebration this year. The national holiday will start early at 8 am with the town holding a flag raising ceremony, followed by many family friendly activities. South Range Fourth of July has been celebrating the birth of the united states since 1906 in grand fashion. Mike Renier with the South Range fourth of July Committee is proud to continue that tradition, and is very excited to see the community come out to the parade.
There will be a corn-hole tournament sponsored by the South Range Pub, per-registration can be completed online or by calling the restaurant. As well as tours at the Keweenaw Brewing Company and Copper Range Historic Museum. And everybody’s favorite Fourth of July activity, the South Range Parade. Below you will find the committee’s schedule for their Fourth of July celebration and activities.
