Sigma Pi – Zeta Epsilon Chapter Donates Nearly 2,000 Dollars to Dial Help and Pigs – N – Heat

A Michigan Tech fraternity donated nearly 2,000 dollars to Dial Help, from a recent philanthropy event. Yesterday the crisis hotline provider announced they received 1,916 dollars from the Sigma Pi Fraternity – Zeta Epsilon chapter. Sigma Pi explained that they wanted to help support Dial Help due to the growing number of people addressing mental health and wishing to help support groups that break down the stigma that surrounds the topic; adding that they try to support local organizations whenever possible. Sigma pi raised the money during their annual haunted house event with the Theta Chi Epsilon Sorority. In total the two Greek life organizations raised close to 4,000 dollars; which was divided evenly between Dial Help and the Pigs –N – Heat fund. Pigs – N – Heat helps family recover after devastating fires. The fund raises money annually during a Fire vs Police hockey game, which is scheduled for February 17th.
