Showcase [C+X] at Michigan Technological University starts tomorrow

Michigan Technological University’s Institute of Computing and Cybersystems showcases student and faculty research. This year the ICC’s annual Computing MTU showcase takes on highlighting the convergence of computing in different disciplines. Over the three-day conference, the Institute invites experts to share knowledge during various presentations and discussion panels.

The 2024 Showcase [C+X] at Michigan Tech invites four speakers, including Shanker Subramaniam from the University of California – San Diego, Markus Buehler from MIT, Steve Jones from the University of Illinois – Chicago, Claudia Gonzalez-Vallejo from the National Science Foundation, and Ohio University, as the main presenters. Panel discussion will cover topics such as Women in Tech, and the Convergence of Computing.

Each year the showcase also emphasizes work by students with the poster competition. Offering students an opportunity to highlight research and projects they work on. Winners in the graduate category can earn scholarship funds supporting student education.  Those interested in learning more about Copunig MTU 2024 Showcase [C+X] can find more information here.
