Shop with a Cop delivers holiday cheer to children in Gogebic County.
Last week MSP Wakefield post troopers delivered gift bags from the North Pole to residents who couldn’t attend the annual shop with a cop distribution center. The Wakefield Post partnered with Gogebic Ontonagon Communities that Care in 2024 to bring back the event over the weekend.
During Shop with a Cop, kids enjoyed a nutritious breakfast, and craft activities with officers before shopping for winter clothing at Walmart, Tractor Supply, and Ableman’s Clothing.
Michigan state police thank the community and its partners for supporting the shop with a cop’s return to the Gogebic council this year.
