Senior Project Fresh is a local project that is part of Meals on Wheels, and offers coupons to seniors over the age of 59 living in the Houghton or Keweenaw counties who meet specific income requirements.
These coupons can be used at farmers markets to purchase over 75 different fruits or vegetables.
The sale of coupons started yesterday, and will continue until tomorrow. They will also be sold next Monday to Wednesday.
